About

Baxter Biohazard exists for one simple reason: to help people through situations most never expect to face.

When a space becomes unsafe due to trauma, loss, or hazardous materials, the last thing anyone should have to worry about is how to clean it up correctly. Our role is to step in during those moments, handle what others cannot, and do so with care, professionalism, and respect.

Baxter Biohazard is a family-run company built by a father and his sons, grounded in the belief that people deserve to feel safe again after traumatic events. This work is not just technical for us - it’s personal.

Every call represents a real person, a real family, or a real community dealing with something difficult. We take that responsibility seriously.

A Family-Driven Purpose

At its core, Baxter Biohazard is about family helping families.

As a father-and-sons operation, we understand the weight of responsibility, protection, and care. That perspective shapes how we approach every job. We don’t see properties as projects - we see them as places where people live, work, grieve, and heal.

Our values are rooted in showing up when it matters, doing the job the right way, and treating people with dignity regardless of the circumstances. Many of the situations we respond to involve loss, trauma, or environments that feel overwhelming. Our goal is to provide stability, clarity, and a sense of relief during moments that can otherwise feel out of control.

Why We Do This Work

Biohazard cleanup is not a service people plan for.

It becomes necessary after events such as unattended deaths, crime scenes, severe hoarding conditions, drug contamination, virus exposure, or hazardous living environments. These situations often leave people unsure of what to do next.

We do this work because it removes a burden from people at one of the hardest points in their lives. By handling the cleanup safely and thoroughly, we allow families, property owners, and communities to focus on what comes next - whether that is grieving, healing, rebuilding, or moving forward.

Professional, Trained, and Legitimate

While compassion is central to who we are, professionalism and legitimacy are non-negotiable.

Baxter Biohazard operates with strict adherence to safety regulations and industry standards. Our technicians are IICRC certified and hold Washington State certifications for methamphetamine and fentanyl decontamination. We follow OSHA, EPA, and Department of Health guidelines on every cleanup.

This work involves serious health risks, including bloodborne pathogens, chemical residue, infectious materials, and contaminated building components. We use proper containment, personal protective equipment, air filtration, and industry-approved remediation methods to ensure environments are truly safe - not just visibly clean.

Being “nice” is not enough in this industry. Doing the work correctly, legally, and safely is what protects our clients long after we leave the site.

A Compassionate Presence During Trauma

Our arrival often follows law enforcement, medical responders, or emergency services.

That means emotions are high, questions are unanswered, and people are often exhausted or overwhelmed. Our team is trained to operate with discretion and calm professionalism, minimizing disruption while maintaining transparency.

We communicate clearly, explain what to expect, and respect boundaries. There is no judgment, no rushing, and no unnecessary intrusion. Our role is to quietly take care of the environment so others can focus on people.

Strength Through Integration

Baxter Biohazard operates alongside Baxter Construction & Restoration, allowing us to support clients beyond cleanup when structural repairs or rebuilding are required. Biohazard situations often involve removing flooring, drywall, or other materials that cannot be salvaged.

Because we work as part of the same family of companies, clients don’t have to navigate multiple contractors or repeat their story. Cleanup and restoration can be coordinated seamlessly, creating a smoother and less stressful path forward.

Accountability, Documentation, and Support

We believe accountability matters. Every cleanup is carefully documented with photos, assessments, and records of the remediation process. This documentation helps ensure compliance, transparency, and clarity for clients.

We also assist when insurance involvement is needed by providing the necessary documentation to support claims. While every situation is different, our experience helps reduce confusion during an already difficult time.

Our Committment

Baxter Biohazard is committed to protecting health, restoring safety, and honoring the trust placed in us.

We approach every job with the understanding that behind every call is a story, a family, and a moment that matters.

We are here to handle the hardest environments with care, skill, and integrity - so people can take the next step forward knowing they are in good hands.
